December was much warmer and drier than last year. It was a quiet month aside from two things: our car broke down and I resigned from my job at Trek. I unexpectedly started working part-time at the bike shop after we moved to Australia last year.
During my time in the bike industry, I became a proper road cyclist and made some lifelong friendships. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I suspect I’ll look back fondly on this chapter in my life. The end of an era!
Now, I’m looking forward to the next phase of my journey—moving into full-time work in the animal protection space. I’m excited to focus my energy on values-driven work that aligns with my high-impact career goals. Here’s to new beginnings and making a difference!
